Submission of abstracts and contributed papers
Contributed papers are welcome. Concerned scholars are invited to submit to the Scientific Committee an abstract in English, of no more than 300 words, with title, authors’ name, company or institution they belong to, and email included.
The official conference languages will be Italian and English. A good practice would be to write the slides in English, so that all participants can follow the presentation.

Authors of both invited and spontaneous papers are invited to submit a 4- or 6-page short paper in English (in addition to the abstract of their presentation)
"ANGELO ZANELLA" Prize
for thesis in Applied Statistics
ASA (Associazione per la Statistica Applicata – Association for Applied Statistics) and AICQ Centronord (Associazione Italiana Cultura Qualità Centronord – Italian Association for Quality Culture, Northern and Central Italy), within the framework of their institutional activities, announce a competition for the awarding of a prize for a master’s degree thesis on topics related to applied statistics. The prize is dedicated to the memory of Professor Angelo Zanella. Professor Zanella was a faculty member at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padua and at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, as well as a board member of ASA and AICQ Centronord.
The call is open to:
Graduates who obtained their degree after January 1, 2025, in any academic discipline.
The thesis must concern applied statistics in one of the following fields: social, health, business, economic, technological, or environmental studies. It may be written in either Italian or English.
An ad hoc committee will award one prize of €1,000 (one thousand euros) for the best thesis; commemorative plaques for other theses deemed worthy of mention. In addition, all awardees will receive free one-year membership to both ASA and AICQ-CN.
Applicants wishing to compete for the prize must submit their application in free format by June 30, 2026, to ASA via email at asa@sa-ijas.org . The ASA Presidency will acknowledge receipt of the application.
